Fibromyalgia is a condition caused by changes in the way the body processes pain signals. It can be caused by a stressful event or a painful injury. Among its symptoms are frequent headaches, and pain around the body or focused on the neck or back. The pain can be felt like a stabbing or a burning sensation.
