Migraine Sufferers Should Take Medication To Prevent Attacks

This Approach Is Similar To Asthma Treatments, With Drugs To Treat The Attack, And Drugs To Prevent It

Migraines are usually treated when the patient is under a migraine attack, and usually under an incapacitating condition. However, there are medical opinions that if patients have certain symptoms, they should be treated in order to prevent a migraine. According to specialists, migraine sufferers should be given preventive treatments if attacks are more than once a week, they have a poor response to drug treatments or serious side effects, or the attacks cause severe disability.
